Privacy Policy
Linkroom is a publishing tool operated by Curiocity Media Group, a division of ZoomerMedia Limited. This policy explains the information Linkroom processes when teams manage publication pages and connect professional Instagram accounts.
Information we process
Depending on how Linkroom is used, we may process:
- Administrator account and authentication information.
- Publication settings, links, images and campaign content.
- Instagram professional-account identifiers, usernames, access tokens and token expiry information when an account is connected.
- Instagram media metadata, including captions, media URLs, permalinks and timestamps, used to display or select owned posts.
- Instagram comments and public account identifiers when an authorized administrator uses Linkroom contest tools.
- Basic technical and usage information used for security, reliability and audience measurement.
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Operate, secure and improve Linkroom.
- Publish and refresh authorized Instagram content.
- Let administrators select owned Instagram media for links.
- Administer Instagram contests when requested.
- Diagnose errors, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
Linkroom does not sell Instagram account data or use it for unrelated advertising.
Storage, service providers and retention
Linkroom uses service providers for hosting, databases, media storage, authentication and analytics. Information may be processed in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions where those providers operate, subject to contractual and legal safeguards.
We retain connected-account information while it is needed to provide the service. Copied campaign images and contest records may be retained for operational, audit or legal purposes. We remove or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required.
Security and your choices
Instagram access tokens are stored in encrypted form and access to Linkroom administration is restricted. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.
You can revoke Linkroom’s Instagram access through Instagram or request access, correction or deletion of personal information as permitted by applicable law. See our data-deletion instructions.
